How do you know when you are ready to start making money in photography and video? Many amateur photographers think there is a destination with a large sign that reads “You have arrived,” but that isn’t how it works. The formula to start making money with your camera is very simple: you need confidence. In today’s lesson, I share eight simple steps to help you gain confidence and get started.

So how do you know when you are ready? The bottom line is that you are ready now. Go out there and do it and as always, keep those cameras rollin’ and keep on clickin’.

At 3:55 I talk about putting together a website. You can see my portfolio at http://www.jaypmorgan.com

I've been getting more clients lately; my dilemma now is when I get book for a session how do I got about choosing a place or places to shoot? As in do I choose more than one place that session? Or do I choose one place and just shoot multiple outfits? Do I choose multiple places and just make them near each other?

Hi. First off I want to say this is not my Youtube account, I  am using a family members. I am 15 years old and dream of becoming a pro photographer, the problem is, I own and take pictures with a Nikon Coolplix L330. Once I get a job I am planning to save up for a DSLR. People say I take really good pictures, most of my pictures are of wild birds, rabbits and my family. I have no idea where to start. Can I even start without a DSLR? Any advice or helpful tips anyone has for me will be extremely helpful.
