NYLON PACK. Carries 75lbs of gear daily!, December 23, 2015

This review is from: Evecase Extra Large DSLR Camera/Laptop Travel Backpack Gadget Bag w/ Rain Cover – Black (Accessory)
I have been holding off on writing a review till I had this pack a while……….. It’s been 6 months now.
This bag not only works, it works well.
It goes everywhere with me, back and forth everyday. I work as an EMT and carry my Camera gear so I can do Street Photography in my down time. I also do location shoots with models a few times a month. I hang my cameras of the shoulder straps and go all day with it on. Yeah, its a very comfortable bag and once you read what I carry. Holy Cow!
However, it is BIG! Here is why, I carry about 75 lbs of gear as follows….
*Nikon D3100 with extended battery grips, wriststraps, hinge plates, neck straps and typically a 35mm prime w/hood mounted.
*Nikon D5100 with extended battery grip, wriststraps, hinge plates, neck strap and typically a 50-300mm w/reversible hood mounted.
When on shoots I carry both suspended on the shoulder straps but inside the bag when not.
    *Sigma 70-300(spare)
    *Nikor 17-55mm
*soon to add another lens prob a 50-105mm
    *All lens in padded bags
    *Rain covers for both cameras
    *Macro kit
    *Filters
    *Large cleaning kit
*Waterproof accessory box for connectors, card readers, etc.
    *SD card case (10 cards)
*Small pouch for IR controllers and wires
*8 spare batteries and mobile charger
    *Large Flash
    *Fullsize Tripod
    *Mini Tripod
    *Lenovo tablet or Chrome book
    *A regular book
    *Snack bars and candy/gum
    *Large water bottle
    *Small Note pad and pen
    *Tooth brush, floss and paste
    *My Meds
    *Leatherman
    *LED flash light.
    *and I bet I’m missing something…..

I have hinge plates with carabeaners that hook to the D rings on the shoulder straps and I run the chest strap through the camera straps just in case the D rings ever fail.Gum and spare batteries in the waist band pockets… so handy. I can also strap my Jacket to the bag if I get hot! I tell you its a GD kitchen sink Bag!!!!

There is only 1 minor complaint. The rubber loop through fastener for the dedicated straps used to hold a tripod ripped but that’s minor thing because there are tension straps on the sides that are heavier duty and work better.

    Couple more points:
*Zippers are good. I think the complaints are from the canvas bags.
    *Rain cover works great
    *excellent protection for gear.
    *comfortable, very comfortable.
*Lots of versatility for interior configuration

For the money you absolutely can not beat this bag! Hell, I think it would be hard to beat this bag for anything under $200-250. It’s been taking a beating, holds up and still looks great! Love it!!!

    -Tim

I am confident you will be glad you kept your baby bag for your next trip, May 21, 2015

Just got this case and have not carried it yet. Read complaints about the zippers. I do not see a problem so far. I can see where you would need to be careful using them as the material folds in close and they could catch on it if you don’t zip with a little caution. This is a large bag. It holds two full cameras, several extra lenses, and a ton of other stuff. If you load it up all the way and go out for an all day shoot and hump it through the woods, I am confident you will be glad you kept your baby bag for your next trip. I am an old ex Army Ranger and I quickly saw that I would not want to hump this bad boy around all day if it’s full of gear. It seems to be padded well, is well organized, and seems sturdy enough. I will update this if I find problems later on. I am not a compensated reviewer. Just a normal customer.
